The Insurance Gold Class™ designation is the highest training level recognized in the Inter-Industry and recognizes businesses at two levels:

• Office, Business Location, or Department Level
• Corporate or Company Level

Earning Gold Class Recognition – 2013 and Beyond

In 2013, I-CAR enhanced the Insurance Gold Class program and updated qualification criteria. These changes were developed with industry input to more flexibly accommodate employee turnover and better align Gold Class requirements with employee tasks and career development. Fewer appraiser staff members will be required to achieve ProLevel 2 and ProLevel 3, while ensuring a greater number of appraiser staff achieve at least ProLevel 1.

Getting Started

It’s easy to begin training! Here is an overview of the process:

1. Identify employee roles and submit an employee roster to I-CAR by email or fax, or call Customer Care for instructions on how to submit your roster in writing.
2. Create a myI-CAR account. Click on “Register” under the myI-CAR logo on i-car.com.
3. You will receive an email asking you to activate your account. If you do not receive an email within 5 minutes, check your spam or junk folder or call Customer Care for activation.
4. Login to myI-CAR and access Training Manager. You can use tools in Training Manager to plan, track, and schedule training.
5. Once training requirements have been met, submit your Insurance Gold Class application.
